Mary Batson (aka 'Black' Mary Marvel)

Not really Mary Marvel because she was getting her powers from Black Adam, Mary Batson got a spiffy new outfit. I HATE, HATE, HATE the arc this comes from, especially when it came to Final Crisis and they ruined her character with a vengeance. But it still looks cool. I'll do the red outfit at some point since it's the best one.

I have an Etsy store!

For the time being, I'm going to put some of my work on Etsy to try to make some money, if only to pay for webhosting so I can try to get my site back up.

See it here!

Supergirl

Today's sketch. Supergirl. A bit of a mix of the new Kara from the comics and, my personal favorite, Kara En Zee from Superman: The Animated Series.

Superman

I'm trying to learn to use the brushpen that I got with my latest Micron set. I've successfully incorporated it into some effects work, but as far as doing figures and such, I'm at a loss. So I'm doing a comic character portrait a day for the foreseeable future to get better at them. I'm only allowing myself 30 minutes apiece on them and coloring them with Prismacolor markers. When I have three done on the same page, I'll be willing to sell them, so if you're interested, comment and I'll get hold of you.
